After many weeks of work and months of Covid-19 shut-down interruptions, Greg, Clem and Steve delivered the portable Altar to the Pascoe Vale Anglican Church. This was made to the church's design from timber recovered from old pews. A work of art.
The items above were all made for the Brunswick North West Primary School
In 2018 we were approached by the BNWPS to see if we could assist in some work at the school. Our first task was to refurbish a couple of the concrete based seats, adding new timbers and repainting. Along with this we replaced the seat timbers on an outside bench, which were again painted. This was followed by a request to construct some timber shelving for the storage shed used to house the sports equipment. The most recent project was to construct five (5) tables and twenty (20) bench seats for use at the “Sprout” Cafeteria.
We would like to thank the BNWPS for their support of the Strathmore Men’s Shed

St Aidens Kindergarten
Early in 2019 we were approached by the Committee at St Aidens Kindergarten in Strathmore to help with the refurbishment of their grounds and extend the range of activities that children could be involved with.
Our first project was to construct three (3) large planter boxes for the kids to learn about growing some vegetables.
These were placed along a wall on an old and unproductive garden bed and recently were planted with a few tomato bushes to get them started.
This is a simple construction of treated pine, lined with shade cloth and finished in a high gloss clear varnish.

The second part of the project was the completion of a “mud sink”
Great fun for little hands, simply add some dirt or sand and water and you can make anything.
Again constructed from treated pine and structural ply and finished in the high gloss clear varnish.
Our thanks to St Aidens for their support of the SMS.
Iin turn we would strongly urge the local community to support the kindergarten in any way they can.

Mobile storage trolley made for the Community Mobile Library at Airport West Shopping Centre
We completed this project earlier in the year and have been waiting on the shopping centre to roll out its opening.
Well it seems that it has arrived, this was seen this past week way down at the Target end of the centre.
However, keep your eyes peeled as it was designed to be mobile.
Take advantage, swap and change some books.

A very special present for some very special children.

They identify children in 3rd world countries with cleft pallets, conjoined twins etc.
They stay at C.F.F prior to surgery at Royal Children’s Hospital
Then rehabilitate there, post-surgery, before returning home.
Rotary provided the site and built the mini hospital.
It’s a farm with animals as well as a mini hospital.
Rotarians provide the surgery FOC.
